Cohen Brouillette Suffers Injury Saturday, August 20th, 2016 Watching Cohen Brouillette getting helped off the field today at Staples Field @ The Rose Bowl, fans of the So Cal Republic feared the worst. The news wasn't quite as bad as initially feared, but the starting pitcher will miss one week with a strained abdominal muscle. "We feel we've dodged a bullet. When you see a guy break down like that, you worry right away," a team spokesman said. Brouillette suffered the injury throwing a pitch in the game against the Hornets. To date this year, Brouillette shows a 14-3 record, 25 starts, 157.2 innings, 156 strikeouts and a 2.74 ERA. |
