Jesters Snap Shine's Streak at 27 Saturday, August 13th, 2016 The Jersey Jesters pitching did its job today, holding hot-hitting Bobby Shine hitless in 4 at-bats during a 5-2 victory over the Maple Marauders at The Royal Court at Jersey Yards. This disappointing performance ended his 27-game hitting streak. "I'm a little down right now," Shine said after the game. "I couldn't get anything going when the team needed me, and I hated to see the streak end, too." Shine is currently hitting at a .304 pace with 1 home run and 37 RBIs. |
