Capitalists Deal Méndez to Jacks for Gonzáles Sunday, July 31st, 2016 The Washington Capitalists have finalized a deal with the Jacksonville Jacks for the services of 33-year-old reliever Jorge Gonzáles. In exchange, the Jacks will receive 20-year-old minor league right fielder Pedro Méndez. This year Gonzáles has notched 8 saves. He has 30 strikeouts and 9 walks in 33.1 innings while registering a 6.21 ERA and a 0-4 won-lost record. |
