Sharp Puts Spell on New York Thursday, July 21st, 2016 Elvis Sharp of the San Diego Hops spun his magic on the New York Mafia today. He blanked them 4-0 on 1 hit, registering 7 strikeouts and 1 walk. "The bottom line was I just kept the ball down," Sharp said. "My breaking stuff was down. Everything was down." Talking to reporters in the postgame interview, the San Diego skipper said, "We got solid pitching, good defense and we took great team at-bats in a lot of different situations.
