Roberto Guzmán to Miss 4-5 Months Saturday, July 2nd, 2016 The Ann Arbor Barn Owls were dealt a severe blow when Roberto Guzmán was hurt running the bases recently in a game against the Seattle Sasquatch. After the game, the team trainer reported Guzmán might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 37-year-old right fielder out for the rest of the season with a ruptured achilles tendon. They indicated it would take Guzmán at least 4-5 months to heal. Guzmán is currently batting .348 with 23 home runs and 67 RBIs. |
