Seattle SP Larson Will Miss 4 Months

Earlier today, Seattle starting pitcher Ray Larson had to leave the game against Ann Arbor because of an injury. Team officials are reporting that he has shoulder inflammation and will miss 4 months of play. Larson was hurt throwing a pitch and was unable to continue playing. He will be evaluated this afternoon by team physicians.
On his stats sheet for the year Larson shows a 6-7 record, 16 starts, 93 innings, 62 strikeouts and a 4.94 ERA.
