Brooks Spins Shutout Monday, June 13th, 2016 A masterful pitching performance carried the Cabo San Lucas Toreros to a 7-0 victory over Washington. Wilfred Brooks held them scoreless in a complete-game effort. He permitted 5 hits, had 5 strikeouts and allowed 1 walk. The skipper of the Capitalists said, "Brooks was sharp. We never did figure him out." To date this season Brooks has compiled a 9-1 record with a 3.99 ERA in 13 starts. |
