Frend Sidelined for 3 Months Monday, May 16th, 2016 Seattle fans held their breath as Steve Frend left yesterday's Crush-Sasquatch contest with an injury. After the game, the team's medical staff said that the 27-year-old right fielder had suffered a torn rib cage muscle while making a defensive play. It's estimated that he will be out 3 months. So far this season Frend is hitting .357 with 12 home runs. |
