Yamamoto Punishes TML Pitchers This Week Monday, May 16th, 2016 23-year-old Katsuhiko Yamamoto made a few Las Vegas headlines during this past week as the rookie left fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Thurman Munson League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 10 hits in 25 at-bats to put up a .400 average. Yamamoto collected 4 home runs, 5 RBIs and scored 6 runs. Hitting .384 to date, Yamamoto has 18 home runs and 42 RBIs.
