Herman Picked Best Player Monday, May 16th, 2016 At the age of 26, Joe Herman might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The New York center fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .625 batting average. For his efforts Herman collected the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 15 hits in 24 at-bats, 3 home runs and 11 RBIs last week in 6 games. This year Herman has hit at a .336 clip with 47 hits, 8 home runs, 29 RBIs and 28 runs scored. |
