Bancroft Belts 5 Hits Tuesday, October 13th, 2015 Next time the Jokers might think twice about pitching to Pat Bancroft. Today at Lucky 7 Ballpark the Boston right fielder really burned Las Vegas pitching, going 5-for-6 in the Cardinals 16-6 triumph. "When he's seeing the ball well," his skipper told reporters, "he can probably stroke a base hit blindfolded." Pat Bancroft hit a two-run double in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. This year Bancroft has collected a .289 batting average to date with 182 hits in 630 at-bats, 57 RBIs, 6 home runs and scored 71 times. He has played in 159 games. |
