So Cal's Takaaki Hirayama Suffers Setback Friday, September 25th, 2015 The So Cal Republic announced today that catcher Takaaki Hirayama will not be returning as quickly as expected from injury. "There was a bit of a setback, but nothing to be concerned about," one team official told reporters. "Takaaki will probably miss another one week because of this, but everyone expects him to make a full recovery." Hirayama's current batting average stands at .240 and he has chalked up 4 home runs and 18 RBIs. |
