Star of the Week Picked in TML Monday, September 14th, 2015 At the age of 26, Andrew Padgett might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Eureka left fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .560 batting average. For his efforts Padgett collected the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 14 hits in 25 at-bats, 3 home runs and 7 RBIs last week in 7 games. In 57 games this season Padgett has batted at a .280 pace with 56 hits and 5 home runs. |
