Cheslin Wins TML Player of the Week Prize Monday, July 20th, 2015 It's always a thrill for fans of the team and students of the game alike when a superstar in the making shows what he's got. Stan Cheslin, the Jersey Jesters 21-year-old right fielder, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for Thurman Munson League Player of the Week honors. He ripped 11 hits in 19 at-bats, compiling a .579 average with 3 home runs and 11 RBIs. Looking at his stats this year, Cheslin has compiled a .299 batting average, while hitting 16 home runs and driving in 61 runs. He has played in 85 games and scored 51 runs. |
