Mafia Holden Adams Hurt Friday, July 3rd, 2015 The New York Mafia were dealt a severe blow when Holden Adams was hurt making a defensive play recently in a game against the Texas Gunners. After the game, the team trainer reported Adams might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 27-year-old right fielder out for the rest of the season with a broken bone in the elbow. They indicated it would take Adams at least 8 months to heal. This year Adams has hit at a .329 clip with 72 hits, 2 home runs, 31 RBIs and 30 runs scored. |
