Jesús Cruz is May's #1 Hitter in TML Monday, June 1st, 2015 For the month of May, Jesús Cruz of the Kansas City Tornadoes has really worn out the sweet spot on his bat. He has assaulted, used and abused Thurman Munson League pitchers to the tune of a .340 batting average and was honored as the hottest hitter of the month today. Cruz went 35 for 103 last month with 17 walks. The first baseman tallied 10 home runs, 22 RBIs, 23 runs scored and compiled a .433 on-base percentage. So far this season Cruz has 17 home runs and a .337 batting average. |
