Tuesday, May 19th, 2015
Baseball can be a contact sport at times. It can exact a harsh toll on a player's body. In a recent game against Washington Capitalists, Mafia closer Lyle Arnold was injured throwing a pitch and is expected to miss 2 weeks with a forearm strain. The team did not announce any roster moves today related to this injury. The New York skipper told BNN that personnel decisions would be announced as early as tomorrow.
This season Lyle Arnold has been credited with 8 saves. In 15 relief appearances and 16.2 innings pitched, he has a 1-0 won-lost mark, 1.08 ERA and 16 strikeouts
