South Carolina Halts Coffman's Hitting Steak Thursday, May 14th, 2015 Barn Owls shortstop Jeffrey Coffman was one of the hottest hitters in baseball, coming into today's game against South Carolina with a 24-game hitting streak. However, the Bombers put a chill in his bat, at least for today, and held him hitless in 2 at-bats during the South Carolina 4-1 triumph at Huron River Park. Coffman is currently batting .294 with 1 home run, 9 RBIs and 15 runs scored. He has 30 hits in 102 at-bats. |
