Tolbert Wins RCL Player of the Week Honors Monday, May 4th, 2015 25-year-old Kevin Tolbert sent shock waves through Adult Baseball League last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Tolbert made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .500 average, 10 hits in 20 at-bats, 5 home runs and 9 runs batted in. Where the Minnesota Berserkers left fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Tolbert certainly made his mark last week. This season Tolbert is batting .349 with 30 hits and 6 home runs. He has scored 20 times and has 16 runs batted in. |
