ABL News: Draft Pool Revealed Tuesday, December 2nd, 2014 The biggest anxiety for 2014 new young players is getting drafted. For the young man with something to prove, simple entrance into the draft does not guarantee a big league contract. Some will suffer the excruciating torment of having to stand by as their competitors get picked before them, hoping that they get a slim chance to prove their skills anywhere. At any rate, teams now have 15 days to scout the draft pool before the draft is held. The Transactions page also gets a new section dedicated to the draft pool, which will be available for 15 days prior to the draft. The top players available (in no particular order) seem to be: 1. Yosai Aoyama, 24 year-old center fielder out of college. 2. David White, 22 year-old left fielder out of college. 3. Tanner Glassey, 19 year-old second baseman out of college. 4. Hank McIlmoyle, 19 year-old starting pitcher out of college. 5. Bill Baker, 22 year-old starting pitcher out of college. 6. Misao Kokawa, 22 year-old center fielder out of college. 7. Joël Oger, 24 year-old shortstop out of college. 8. Oniji Nakashima, 17 year-old starting pitcher out of college. 9. Robert Wilson, 22 year-old right fielder out of college. 10.
