Nottinghamshire Manager William Atteberry Named Top Skipper in the ABL for Season III Saturday, November 15th, 2014 The Nottinghamshire Outlaws had an outstanding season, much of it due to their astute and gifted skipper. For his managerial excellence, William Atteberry reaped the reward of being voted Roberto Clemente League Manager of the Year. "A manager is only as good as the players he's managing," Atteberry told reporters. "If I didn't have the talent to work with, making all the right moves wouldn't have helped a bit." Under Atteberry the Outlaws won the Roberto Clemente League Pennant and also went on to win the ABL World Series in in Season III. In the regular season the Outlaws finished with a record of 97-66. |
