Setback For Cardinals and Adam Thomas Friday, September 5th, 2014 Adam Thomas was taking it slow and easy, nursing shoulder soreness back to good health, when he suffered a setback. According to a Boston team official, "Adam was making excellent progress and it appeared he would return to the squad ahead of schedule. But then he reinjured it in a light workout." Club doctors now say the 28-year-old Cardinals starting pitcher would be out at least another 6 days. So far this year Thomas has 6 wins and 11 losses and a 3.89 ERA. |
