Ross Premier Pitcher in August Monday, September 1st, 2014 Tony Ross's been around the league long enough to appreciate the honor he received today. After going 6-0 in August, the 35-year-old Ann Arbor hurler has been named Roberto Clemente League Pitcher of the Month. He fanned 31 in 44 innings, logged an ERA of 1.23 and allowed opponents to hit .186 against him. So far this season Ross has compiled a 14-6 record with a 3.85 ERA. |
