Las Vegas Left Fielder Nets TML Award Monday, August 25th, 2014 At the age of 32, Juan Ramírez might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Las Vegas left fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .407 batting average. For his efforts Ramírez collected the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 11 hits in 27 at-bats, 4 home runs and 14 RBIs last week in 6 games. For the season, Ramírez is hitting at a .293 clip with 31 home runs, 116 RBIs and has scored 71 runs. He has 141 hits, 59 walks and a .371 on-base percentage. |
