This Week's Star Player is García Monday, August 4th, 2014 It was some kind of week for Luis García of the Dallas Texans. First he hits the heck out of the ball, ripping it at a .579 clip and the next thing you know, he is voted the Player of the Week in the Roberto Clemente League. Last week García went 11-19, chalked up 3 home runs and 9 RBIs and scored 6 runs. Not a bad week's work at all. García currently has a .320 batting average with 108 hits, 18 homers, 65 RBIs, 62 runs scored and a .384 OBP. |
