Toreros Hurler Named TML's Best Starter Tuesday, July 1st, 2014 Charles Luce's been around the league long enough to appreciate the honor he received today. After going 4-0 in June, the 33-year-old Cabo San Lucas hurler has been named Thurman Munson League Pitcher of the Month. He fanned 34 in 42.2 innings, logged an ERA of 1.27 and allowed opponents to hit .236 against him. So far this season Luce has a 10-1 record, 16 starts, 106.1 innings, 87 strikeouts and a 2.12 ERA. |
