June's Best Batter Announced Tuesday, July 1st, 2014 When Byron Bryant stepped up to the plate in June, he did it with confidence and today he was honored with the Roberto Clemente League Batter of the Month award. The young Nottinghamshire catcher posted a .423 batting average with 8 home runs, 30 RBIs and scored 21 runs. Bryant also worked pitchers for 15 walks to post a .517 on-base percentage. This season Bryant is batting .340 with 23 home runs. |
