Bryant Bags RCL Best Player Award Monday, June 30th, 2014 So far in his young career, Byron Bryant has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Roberto Clemente League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 21-year-old Nottinghamshire Outlaws catcher hit at a torrid .667 clip as he collected 16 hits in 24 at-bats, 4 home runs, 14 RBIs and 8 runs scored. Posting a .340 batting average to date, Bryant has 23 home runs and 87 RBIs. |
