Frend on Fire, 5-5 Against Maple Thursday, June 12th, 2014 The Sasquatch whipped the Marauders 8-6 at Legends Park and Steve Frend had a big hand in the win. The Sasquatch right fielder came to the plate 5 times and collected 5 hits. It was a good day for Frend and a tough day for Maple. "I just go up there and whale away and hope it hits the barrel of the bat," he said. "There really isn't any plan." Plan or not, Frend delivered today -- 5-5 is outstanding in any league. Steve Frend tripled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
