So Cal Trades Hartman for The Georgia's Walton Monday, May 26th, 2014 So Cal and The Georgia announced some roster changes today as the Republic acquired 32-year-old reliever Dave Walton from the Grays in exchange for 19-year-old minor league second baseman Lance Hartman, 19-year-old minor league third baseman Jorge Rosas and 23-year-old minor league reliever Jeff Wiggins. Representatives from both teams say they are pleased with the deal. Walton has taken the mound for 18 relief appearances this season, nailing down 1 save while notching a 3-0 record with a 2.00 ERA. The So Cal reliever has limited opposing batters to a .230 batting average. |
