RCL's Best Player, Sanders of Seattle Monday, May 19th, 2014 George Sanders showed showed his stuff this past week as the veteran rode a hot streak all the way to Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week honors. The 35-year-old Sasquatch first baseman compiled a .538 average (14-26), 4 home runs and 12 RBIs. This year Sanders has collected a .413 batting average to date with 57 hits in 138 at-bats, 34 RBIs, 10 home runs and scored 36 times. He has played in 34 games. |
