Millard Marshall Shelved by Injury Friday, April 11th, 2014 The Maple Marauders were dealt a severe blow when Millard Marshall was hurt throwing a pitch recently in a game against the Boston Cardinals. After the game, the team trainer reported Marshall might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 39-year-old reliever out for the rest of the season with a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament. They indicated it would take Marshall at least 6 months to heal. |
