Mafia Finley Suspended Sunday, March 9th, 2014 Ashton Finley has been penalized by the commissioner's office for his verbal and physical assault of an umpire. The catcher unleashed his fury in protesting a third-strike call in yesterday's New York-Texas game at The Battlefield. And now he has to pay for it -- Finley has been suspended for 4 games for his unacceptable actions. The commissioner said in his statement that the league would have zero tolerance for any contact with an umpire, unintentional or otherwise. |
