Minnesota-Montreal Swap: Guthrie for Rudyard Saturday, November 2nd, 2013 The general manager of the Minnesota Berserkers has signed off on a trade for Montreal's 35-year-old starting pitcher Bob Rudyard. To complete the deal, the Berserkers will send 22-year-old minor league right fielder Joe Guthrie and 23-year-old starting pitcher Jaime Hernández to the Bandits. Rudyard has collected 31 wins and 7 losses over his career with a 3.00 ERA. The 35-year-old hurler also has struck out 258 batters in 321.1 innings and allowed 292 hits. |
