Capitalists Chester Collins Hurt
Saturday, August 31st, 2013
The Washington Capitalists learned that Chester Collins is likely to be out for 4-5 months after he injured himself throwing a pitch in today's game against the Seattle Sasquatch. A round of tests by the team doctor revealed the injury to be a fractured elbow. Upon hearing the diagnosis, the Washington manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Chester is back in action."

On the year Collins has no saves in 33 relief appearances with a 1-2 record and 5.59 ERA.
