Hops Catcher Knight Injured Sunday, August 4th, 2013 Watching Dorian Knight getting helped off the field today at The Frozen Tundra, fans of the San Diego Hops feared the worst. The news wasn't quite as bad as initially feared, but the catcher will miss 4 weeks with a knee sprain. "We feel we've dodged a bullet. When you see a guy break down like that, you worry right away," a team spokesman said. Knight suffered the injury running the bases in the game against the Berserkers. Posting a .341 batting average to date, Knight has 11 home runs and 31 RBIs. |
