RCL's #1 Starter is Blanchard Wednesday, May 1st, 2013 In April, Todd Blanchard tore through the Roberto Clemente League like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 24 years old. The young Carolina starter posted a 5-0 mark and an ERA of 2.43 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 37 innings he collected 27 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .237 average. |
