TML Presents Player of the Week Trophy Monday, April 8th, 2013 Gary McLernon, known affectionately as "the old man" by the younger players in the Hornets clubhouse, showed his teammates how to do it last week -- and in the process the 36-year-old vet beat out all competition for the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week Award. He put up a .500 batting average, 10 hits in 20 at-bats, 1 home run and 7 RBIs. McLernon also scored 5 runs. |
