ORIX Ace Takes Cy Young Award Wednesday, October 31st, 2012 21-year-old Sakutaro Eida of the ORIX Buffaloes put together a good year in 2012 for such a young player. Eida was named today as the winner of the Pacific League Cy Young Award. Eida crafted an impressive 15-6 record and a 2.72 ERA. In 205 innings he allowed 142 hits, struck out 250, and walked 48. |
