Big Bat Pays Off, Suzuki Player of the Week Monday, September 24th, 2012 Mitsuoki Suzuki went on a hitting spree last week against Central League pitchers and today copped the Player of the Week Award. The Yomiuri Giants first baseman peppered the opposition with 9 hits in 15 at-bats, 3 home runs, 7 RBIs and 7 runs scored. In the last 4 games he hit .600 with an on-base percentage of .684. So far this year Suzuki has hit .304 with 16 home runs, 55 RBIs and 55 runs scored. |
