Fujihara Gets CL Batter of the Month Trophy Saturday, September 1st, 2012 The most recent Central League Batter of the Month trophy was awarded to third baseman Natsume Fujihara of the Hanshin Tigers. In August he stood head and shoulders above all other batters by hitting .431 with 4 home runs, 10 RBIs and 13 runs scored. On the year Fujihara is hitting .328 with 94 hits, 8 home runs, 46 RBIs, .415 OBP and has scored 51 runs. |
