CL's Top Hitter Announced Wednesday, August 1st, 2012 July's Hitter of the Month has been selected by the Central League. This month's trophy was presented to the Yomiuri shortstop, Tetsu Nishimura. He starred by hitting .366 with a .458 on-base percentage, totaled 26 hits in 71 at-bats, 7 home runs, 23 RBIs and scored 14 runs. This year Nishimura is batting .341 with 19 home runs. He has scored 48 runs and driven in 72. |
