CL's Premier Starter is Martin Friday, September 1st, 2017 The Central League named the winner of the Pitcher of the Month Award. It went to Olivier Martin of Yokohama Bay Stars, who impressed the voters with a glittering 2-0 record in August. The Yokohama star hurler made 4 starts, allowed 26 hits in 24 innings, struck out 23 and had a 2.25 ERA. This year Martin has posted a 4-3 mark in 11 starts and has a 3.19 ERA. |
