Manas Hits in 20 Consecutive Games Saturday, August 12th, 2017 Atamas Manas, shortstop for the Saitama Seibu Lions, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 2 hits in his club's 11-7 victory today over the Hanshin Tigers at Field of the Chariots. Atamas Manas singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. So far in 2017 Manas is batting .390 with 8 home runs, 33 RBIs and 33 runs scored. He has 57 hits in 146 at-bats and a .433 OBP. |
