Purujit Selected CL Player of the Week Monday, July 31st, 2017 The top batter in the Central League last week was Muralidaran Purujit, who batted .444 and towered above everybody with a 4-game hitting barrage. During the week Purujit banged out a .444 batting average (8-18), 3 home runs, 4 runs batted in and scored 7 runs. Today the Yomiuri left fielder received the CL Player of the Week Award.
