PL Batter of the Month Honors to Morishita Monday, May 1st, 2017 Snap, crackle and pop! In April, Yakamochi Morishita snapped up the Pacific League Batter of the Month trophy by cracking 22 hits and popping 9 home runs. For the month he hit a solid .361 with 32 RBIs and 19 runs scored. The Saitama Seibu left fielder also picked up 17 walks to compile a .487 on-base percentage. Looking at his season stats, Morishita has compiled a .340 batting average and a .460 on-base percentage, while hitting 14 home runs and driving in 42 runs. |
