Fighters Lose Mori for 4 Months

Mototsune Mori of the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters was injured in today's game against ORIX and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a ruptured finger tendon and he is expected to be out for up to 4 months. It happened while Mori was making a defensive play. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field."
On the season, Mori is batting .136 with 2 home runs and 7 RBIs. He has played in 14 games.
