Honda CL's #1 Pitcher in September Saturday, October 1st, 2016 Over the past month Yataro Honda has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the Central League. He proved all that and now he's been named September's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Yomiuri Giants posted 3-0 mark and a 0.36 ERA. In 4 starts he tossed 25 innings, permitted 8 hits and fanned 39 batters. So far this season Honda has compiled a 11-5 record with a 3.34 ERA. |
