Yokohama Starter Named CL's Premier Pitcher Monday, August 1st, 2016 Toshikasu Takahashi has made fans throughout Nippon Baseball League take notice over the past month with an exceptional 4-0 record. No pitcher in the Central League threw better in July, garnering him the Pitcher of the Month award today. In 4 starts Takahashi compiled a 1.61 ERA, putting up a 4-0 record, striking out 36 and tossing 28 innings. This season Takahashi has worked 132 innings with 166 strikeouts en route to a 11-3 record and a 2.93 ERA. |
