Rin Sticks it to CL Pitchers Monday, July 25th, 2016 At the age of 26, Iwane Rin might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Yomiuri right fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .545 batting average. For his efforts Rin collected the Central League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 6 hits in 11 at-bats, 3 home runs and 4 RBIs last week in 4 games. So far this season Rin is hitting .281 with 20 home runs. |
